Welcome to

Our comprehensive approach to patient care is what really sets us apart. We focus on our patients as people by spending quality time to get to know you and learning about your concerns. That way, when you see us for treatment, we take care of what is most important to you.

Root Planing and Scaling

We know that patients stop going to the dentist for many different reasons. Whether you experienced pain in the past, felt uncomfortable, or you stayed away for financial reasons, we hope to provide you with the best dental experience ever.

Our team takes great care to treat our patients gently, compassionately, and with respect. You will see when you visit either our Ft. Lauderdale or Boca Raton locations that outstanding patient care is our number one priority.

If you have not had your teeth cleaned in a while, you may have some catching up to do. We offer more extensive dental cleanings to help you get back on track to health and wellness.

What Is Periodontal Disease?

If you have not been to the dentist recently, you could have periodontal (gum) disease. Periodontal disease is an infection in your gums. It can cause swelling, bleeding, loose teeth, decay, and tooth loss. A link exists between periodontal disease and numerous other systemic conditions like heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer.

We have special measurements we take to diagnose the severity of your gum disease. That way, we can recommend exactly the type of treatment you require to regain your oral health.

It is very important to treat gum disease right away. In its early stages, it is even reversible. We offer specialized dental cleanings in both our Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton locations for the treatment of periodontal disease.

Leaving gum disease untreated means higher risks for certain illnesses, bad breath, and potential tooth loss. While you may be nervous about visiting the dentist, the sooner you come in, the easier your treatment will be.

Root Planing and Scaling

Our specialized cleanings, called root planing and scaling, gently remove plaque and tartar from below your gum line. Removing the plaque and bacteria allows your gums to heal properly and tighten around your teeth once again.

Once we complete your specialized professional dental cleaning, we will recommend appropriate follow up care to help keep infection and bacteria away until you fully heal. Our hygienists may recommend medication or oral rinses to help promote healthy gums.

We will keep you informed every step of the way during your treatment so that you remain involved in your oral care. We can work together to improve the comfort, health, and appearance of your smile.

Call Now to Schedule a Periodontal Evaluation

In order to arrange for the best treatment, we need to schedule an exam with Dr. Tatiana Herzog or one of our other skilled dentists. At your exam, we can diagnose any conditions and discuss your options. Our hygienists are extremely gentle and compassionate. We look forward to giving you a positive dental experience and outstanding care.
